Mill-and-Overlay (cold planer train)

Keeps sound binder in place; milling depth is set in mm against EN 13036 / agency depth logs. Operating weight and conveyor geometry dominate truck staging. Choose this path when cores show base CBR still meets design and the bid is surface-driven.

Full-Depth Reclamation (WR-class reclaimer)

Remixes failed base with cement or foamed bitumen; rotor torque and dose % replace pure milling depth as the controlling specs. Choose this path when failure depth makes virgin aggregate haul uneconomic — and accept wetter feeds will raise hydraulic pressure on the remix circuit.
